BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be BASF’s largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completion and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, and will be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologies and applying the highest safety standards.

Main Tasks

-	Be the interface between the teams responsible for the pre-commissioning and commissioning of production plants, utilities, infrastructure and supply chain/logistics projects; comprehend the requirements for pre-commissioning and commissioning of each project.
-	Develop and update entire site material balances, raw material import plans and the by-product, off-spec product export plans for entire site commissioning.
-	Develop and update utility system balances and utility unit startup and production plans.
-	Develop and update plans for utility demand for site pre-commissioning and commissioning.
-	Develop and update the site commissioning plan.
-	Establish a pre-commissioning and commissioning plan management system in close alignment with project clusters and construction team.
-	Identify problems/conflicts that affect the implementation of the overall site commissioning plan and proactively raise early warning.
-	Establish work culture principals based on AM core values.
-	Take safety responsibilities with detailed information in Annex.

Requirements

-	Professional experience in the initial startup of large-scale petrochemical projects and operation of petrochemical complexes or petrochemical plants.
-	University degree in Chemical Industry, Engineering or Chemistry.
-	Very good analytical skills.
-	Proven experience as planner/scheduler or other relevant experience in Verbund Operations.
-	Professional in office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc. 
-	Good English language skills. Mother tongue Mandarin.
